Are you still looking for a small souvenir for a dear garden friend? How about, for example, a homemade herb salt? This gives various dishes a very special flavor and is also very easy to make yourself.
When I am invited to barbecues, I always like to bring something small with me. So far there was fruit leather, seed paper and liqueurs of various kinds. Now I wanted to try something different. During my research, I came across the video from Der Bio Koch. He will explain shortly how a delicious and especially spicy herb salt can be produced. In his example, it is a herbal salt with herbs from Provence. In addition to oregano, thyme and rosemary, this also includes tarragon, sage and savory. If you don't have the variety in your garden, you can also choose organic products or completely modify them. A coarse-grained sea salt forms the perfect basis for all herbal salts. All details and quantities can be found in the video set above.
